| The scope of the project was the elaboration of Feasibility Study, Financial Analyses, Socio-Economic Analyses, Risk Analysis, Budget of the Project, EIA, Logical Framework (LFA), Application of Financial Request for rehabilitation of two thermal stations, two pumping stations and 2,4 km of pipeline.
The project aimed at improving of the comfort degree for the inhabitants and economical agents from central area of Buzau Town through:
- Increasing the performance of heat agent and hot water distribution.
- Equipment of the blocks of flats with heating measure devices.
- Low costs of the heating services.
The central area of Buzau is old and very representative from political, social, cultural and touristic point of view. This area is supplied from central heating system. The main houses in the area are very old blocks of flats, built in 1960. The heating supply network has the same age. The inhabitants which are living in this area are also very old, 80% are retired people with low incomes
In order to improve the quality of life of the persons living in the center of Buzau and in the same time to preserve this very important area, the local authorities decided to apply for a European financing from PHARE 2001, Socio-Economic Cohesion Programme – Section 5.1 Small Infrastructure Projects. ENINVEST assisted the local municipality in elaborating the application file, and will assist further in the implementation phase. |
