| Implementation Support Advisor for BUCHAREST Multi Sector Project |
| ENINVEST is the local subcontractor of the Swiss company Electrowatt –Ekono Ltd. in developing this project meant to enable RADET (Bucharest district heating provider) to: - design an effective contract structure to implement the investment programme; - undertake the design, tendering, evaluation and discussion of the resulting contracts within the agreed time schedule; - establishing the best solutions for automated control of technological processes in the substations and hydraulic balancing of consumers connected to the substations; - analyze with designers all deviations resulting during the project implementation and establish mutually on the solutions; - manage the implementation of the contracts according to the agreed schedule, standards and budget; - contribute to improving management and organizational structure of RADET; - comply with established procedures for monitoring and verification of JI projects. The Consultant team is assisting RADET and PIU on tender preparations, tender award and project implementation. The project will provide modern control and automation systems in 584 thermal substations, including the replacement of the existing pumps with new ones, with frequency converters, as well as the erection of balancing valves for 18,000 staircases of blocks. The work is structured in three separate, consecutive phases, as follows: - Preparation of procurement for investment; - Procurement; - Project Implementation. The project is funded by EBRD (the equipment procurement), Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) which provides a grant financing for equipment and technical assistance, and by RADET (in-kind contribution for the installation works, custom duties and VAT). |

| ENINVEST performed consulting services for CONEL – DIP (Department of Project Implementation) within the project for improvement of efficiency of the energetic sector through rehabilitation and modernization of 8 major electric transformation stations: Portile de Fier, Tantareni, Urechesti, Brasov, Smardan, Rosiori, Arad, Transilvania.
The project aimed to assist CONEL (later transformed into Transelectrica S.A. – the national energy transmission company) in: - rehabilitation and upgrading the transmission system - improving the quantity and reliability of electricity supply - achieving fuel savings from substantial reduction in transmission system outages and losses, thereby reducing operation, maintenance and repair costs, and reduction in non-technical losses - improving operational and energy efficiency of the power sector and encouraging the participation of private investment - preparing the integration of the power system with Western Europe, and improving the sector’s financial performance and billing collection procedures. |
